I absolutely love this place. Great for a romantic dinner! Steak is exceptional. I brought my own wine so there is a corking fee.

Decent steaks. But, for the price paid I would expect much better service. Their service here is terrible. My wife and I were so disgusted with our last experience that we left, before we let them ruin our anniversary. The service was terrible from every aspect. Poor phone service. Poor hostess. Terrible server. Trust me, there are better steaks around town. Don't believe the hype.

I've been to Andria's several times, most recently for a celebration dinner for my parents. It was a larger party with nine of us there, and luckily we were able to get a reservation since it was a week night (no reservations on Saturday nights). We were seated right away but the service was a bit slower than usual. The place was packed and our waitress was really hustling, but I wish they had been staffed more appropriately that evening. When our food came, they would bring two or three at a time, and then there would be a bit of a lag before the next round was delivered. It wasn't excessively long but definitely long enough to be noticeable. The food here has yet to disappoint. All steaks are served with a salad (with a very tasty house dressing, if you choose) and a baked potato. I love their baked potatoes but if you really want to indulge, you can go with the twice-baked which comes dressed with sour cream, bacon, cheese and all kinds of other yumminess. Can't imagine how I'd possibly finish everything with that, though, because it's already an overwhelming amount of food. The steaks are truly phenomenal but they're all so big. I think the smallest cut is 8 oz. and don't get me wrong, I have no problem putting that away, but it's a lot of food.

One of those places you don't find but get taken too. As good a steak as you will get anywhere for much less than the , Morton's, , Ruth's Cris, or Eddie Merlot's. .Discovered when I traveled for business. I make it a planed stop anytime I am going near St Louis, its' out of the way in the country in and old converted farmhouse. Momma took me back in the kitchen when I was back two nights in a row. Sure miss those expense accounts. Absolutely fabulous steak.....I think you can get their sauce in Kroger's...at least you could...I'm sure they still sell it online. Well worth a detour....great for an intimate dinner or just two business men spoiling themselves rotten. The staff was great and say hi to Momma !

I really like the Andrias steak sauce so I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a few years. Although my in-laws claimed that Andrias has gone "down hill" I managed to get them to go to dinner here. In the end they both said that their meal was excellent. I had the petite filet and it was great. Their giant baked potatoes are good. My mother in-law really enjoys a drink called a snow bear there.

Best kept secret! Tucked away on a country road. Worth the effort to find it, nice and quiet. NO TV's in the dining room. Good food in a nice setting. Very nice waiters.

andria's is right down the road from us, and we have dined there three or four times. the restuarant is in a cool old house, and hads a very small, charming dining room. to sum things up, andrias does steak very well, but everything else is lackluster. the wines by the glass list is severly lacking a decent cabernet, the sides, salads, and appetzers are all pretty boring, and no better than you could easily make at home or get at applebees. the steak, however, is very very good. the quality of meat is great, and their sauce gives it a wonderfull taste. the service has been unfriendly at times, but has always done the job without forgetting things or messing up orders. i like haing andrias right down the road from me, but if it was in st louis, i doubt we would have made a return visit.

From the outside, it looks like an unassuming old home. On the inside, it's a family-oriented and family run steakhouse. Apparently, prime rib is the specialty, but I had the petite fillet. Even as "petite" as it was, I still couldn't finish it. Overly salty, but good. Fellow diners did have the prime rib and the small order of that was HUGE. All dinners are served with a salad and side- the baked potato was perfect! OK wine list, but the selection of micro-brews was amazing. They easily accommodated our table of 10 with fantastic and efficient service- great for groups. Place is a bit loud- so for an intimate dining experience, this may not be it.

I'm spoiled when it comes to great steak. I'm blessed with three great grill men in my life: my dad, my brother, and my husband. When they make steak, they use Andria's Brush-On Steak Sauce and it is quite possibly the greatest thing in the world. But I'm lucky and I know this. Now, for those of you who aren't blessed with my three genius grill men, let me recommend Andria's Steakhouse in O'Fallon, IL. It isn't too far from St. Louis, about a thirty minute drive into IL and it is more than worth the trip. The menu is set, you can view it online, and I'd recommend the steak (at a steakhouse, how novel!). No matter which you order: sirloin strip, filet mignon, prime rib, you will be amazed at how juicy and delicious it is. People swear by the chicken and pork chops, too, so apparently there is nothing disappointing here at Andria's. Oh, and if you're feeling adventurous, pick up a bottle of the steak sauce and try grilling your own. You'll never make a steak without it again!

Decor is old style. Server wasn't the greatest. Hubby loves steak there and thinks it is great. The chicken for me was dry and the bread was just bread. I am not a huge fan of this place. It is close and as mentioned they have good steak if you are a steak person.

I am so glad we rediscovered this jewel of a steak house in O'Fallon, IL. The service is friendly and on the ball. The steaks are char-grilled, generous in size and not over priced. Don't get me wrong, this place in not inexpensive but I feel you get your money's worth. The char-grilled shrimp in red pepper sauce is an excellent starter. If they had a more expansive wine list I would have rated it higher. The decor is old school but that just adds to the overall charm. Bottom line, if you want a top notch steak in a quaint, quiet, no frills setting with excellent service, you got to try Andrias.

Great place, good service, menu is simple but the food is very good. Order the filet, cook perfectly to what I asked, bake potato, veggies, all very tasteful and cook perfect... Recommended to all to try it...more fancy, so prices are higher but nice for special dinner, celebration, or like me, you like good food and are ok that your bills will be more than 20 $... Haven't try the dessert, I'm full, portion are big, salad can make entire meal...

My colleagues and I ate here recently while at Scott AFB for business. The service was spectacular. The decor is a traditional upscale steakhouse and appears not to have been modernized any time recently (no complaints about that though). The price is a little steep, but again you are paying for quality of food and service (around $30/plate). The meal was served with bread and a salad. I ordered the filet mignon with a baked potato as did one of my colleagues. My other colleague ordered the sirloin with french fries. We also ordered the lobster pastries as an appetizer which comes with four small pastries. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium as requested. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. The wine list was varied with extremely reasonable prices for the cost of the rest of the meal. Overall, the meal was tasty and high quality. Nothing trendy or unique, but a very traditional steakhouse atmosphere. I can not speak highly enough about the professionalism of the service. The fact that the dining room was mostly full on a Wednesday night speaks volumes. Again, nothing "hipster" about this place, but a solid meal if you're willing to splurge a bit for great service and quality.

Great service, excellent food and awesome wine list, very fairly priced wine and food as well. Would definitely return. Not the absolute best I've had, but I would certainly not hesitate to recommend it.

This place is a must for steak and seafood lovers in the Metro East. Set back on a beautiful tree lined lot off Old Collinsville road, this place is an old school steak house with a bit of Southern flair. We started with drinks and an appetizer. They have an extensive wine list, and make a mean dirty martini. The portobello mushroom appetizer is beyond delicious. Was slightly disappointed with a less than crisp caesar salad, but the main course more than made up for it. The sea bass was exceptionally good and the prime rib should be the reason you decide to go. So good, but order it the correct way: medium rare! (Comes with delicious horseradish sauce). Of course there was a standard baked potato along with it but the meat is what really stood out. Our server was outstanding and always made sure we were taken care of. We were never let wanting anything. Will definitely return!

My parents use to enjoy Andria's when they first opened in the late 1970's. I remember going to Andria's was a dress up date night for my parents. Now, 40 years later, I'm going there for date nights. After all these years, it's a business that has stuck around and I know why. The steaks are phenomenal, basted in their own Andria's sauce.

I just had an amazing dinner experience with my BFF at Andria's! It was worth crossing the Mississippi River, most definitely! I love that the restaurant is close to the stores in O'Fallon / Fairview Heights, but that it's set back off the interstate just a bit, hidden behind a veil of trees and greenery. It's an oasis after the hustle and bustle of shopping at the mall. Upon arrival we were immediately seated by the hostess. Hot bread and butter appeared in the blink of an eye, along with ice water. At that point, we looked around and the ambiance is quiet, classy, a bit old fashioned, but nice inside the home turned restaurant. We asked the hostess if we could sit outside because the weather was simply superb today, and she said while they currently weren't seating out there, she would check. Within a couple minutes, we were whisked outdoors to the patio to a cloth covered table set with china! It was amazing out there! If you can finagle it and the weather's nice - go for it! There's relaxing recorded music piped outside (acoustic guitar during our meal), and at our September visit the serenading music of cicadas. It was a perfect outdoor dining experience! Wait it gets better... The meal was awesome. The house salad was delicious - fresh greens, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, olives, red onion, and their house balsamic. BFF and I both had the deliciously tender ribeyes with their house marinade. I had one of the best baked potatoes I've ever had - perfectly baked and oh so fluffy; and the bestie had the crispy and tasty fried zucchini. We split dessert - the lemon berry mascarpone cake, which was amzaeballs!!! It had real blueberries in the cake, and this light lemon flavor. The middle filling of mascarpone was just the right touch of decadence, along with the drizzle of red berry sauce. We were tempted to lick the plate, but some how we maintained our composure. While the Yelp page says it's a classy joint - and it is - attire is all over the place. Some people were dressy. We were in jeans, tennis shoes, and comfy casual. The servers and hostess made us feel completely welcome. Service was actually very, very excellent - especially considering the fact we were unexpectedly outside. It would have been easy to ignore or infrequently check on us. The servers were really perfectly attentive. This restaurant just became one of my favorite steak houses!!!

Really nice place, but not my favorite with all the places in st Louis that are closer to home for us. The best part about this place was the people, the service by far was top notch. We came in for a late dinner at 9:00 pm, and were greeted by the friendly hostess. She seated us immediately, and they do have booths, which are perfect with our 2 year old. The atmosphere is kind of boring and old, but not that classy. Its a big open bright dining room, not very private for the kind of place it is. Our server was on top of it, even after a hard day she still gave us the full presentation, and told us about the specials. The food was brought out quick, and drinks were too. They don't have a cocktail list for martinis, just a wine list which is not up to par with other restaurants of this price point. We had the salmon & shrimp appetizer, the shrimp was just OK, but the salmon was amazing. It was like the best crab cake but better. For dinner we had steaks of course, my wife had the prime rib, I had the filet. They were both cooked evenly and tasted great. We capped it off with their dessert, but it was nothing that memorable.

Good place, not great, not bad, just good. Service was excellent, and the drinks were good. Both ordered the small filet medium-rare, baked potato, and salads. I got the rocqufert dressing which was very good, she got the Caesar. Salads were huge! This was an entree salad for sure, not a side salad! I'm kind of a steak purist, so the Andria's sauce on top of the steak was a little much for me. Salt pepper and EVOO is preferred, but it wasn't bad by any means. The cut was very good. The girl ate about half of her steak, before asking for a piece of mine. Being inquisitive since we got the same steak, I asked why while handing her a piece. She definitely liked mine better, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare, while hers was cooked more medium-well. Being the gentleman, I of course swapped with her. Would I go back? Sure, why not, it's one of the few quiet adult places in the area, and a nice getaway from the kids every once in awhile.

Ordered the ribeye medium rare and it was amazing! Like cutting through warm butter. Didn't need anything to enhance. Ambiance is nice, relatively dressy (jeans ok). I wouldn't go wearing work out clothes. Good service, very attentive, but not buzzing around every two minutes. Going again for sure!

Wow! I have never had Prime Rib this good anywhere! Seriously, no hyperbole here, this was the best ever! Perfection! Make sure to say yes to the option of Andria's steak sauce searing when you order! Wife and I shared a 14 oz. and that was plenty for us. Small up charge for sharing, BUT, that includes an extra salad and side for the reasonable up charge. Besides the food, the warm atmosphere and 1st class service is also a part of the dining experience! All top of the line!!

Not sure who the older lady at the hostess station is, but I have never met a ruder hostess in my life. We arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night without a reservation and fully intended to have to wait for a table. She told us it would be 45 minutes or we could just leave. Really? We stayed, which I wish we wouldn't have; and was seated right outside the bathroom door and my steak was burnt. I had always enjoyed this place in the past, but there are plenty of restaurants that treat their customers better and that is where we will dine.

I took my wife out for a steak dinner a few nights ago. We had two appetizers, a (cheaper) bottle of wine, two steak dinners, and a piece of cheesecake. Food Quality: B+ Food Quantity: B Cleanliness: B- Design & Decor: C Noise Level: C+ Staff Friendliness: A Server Food & Beverage Knowledge: B OVERALL GRADE: B (I wouldn't eat here again but not because of the food or service) PROS: Very friendly waitress, server, and hostess; not crowded, seated us 30 mins early; Excellent outdoor nature scenery; excellent stuffed mushroom appetizer; got in and out very quickly CONS: Not the ambiance we were looking for. I know it is an "old school" steakhouse, but we were the youngest people there by 20 years -- everyone else appeared retired. The steaks weren't bad but they weren't great; I've done better on my Big Green Egg. They charge St. Louis-style prices without the excitement and energy...environment was a big let down. We won't be going here again, not because of poor service or substandard food, but because there are at least 5 steakhouses of superior quality in St. Louis, which is where we live anyway.

Ate here several times and have never been impressed with the food. Every time I've ordered the prime rib and its always been okay I guess but you can get just as good of steak for half the price at Texas Roadhouse. I think if your going to pay that kind of price the food should be fantastic. The place is clean and the service is great so that's a plus. I have eaten at the Andria's in Edwardsville and I must say there is a night and day difference between the two locations. The one in Edwardsville is probably the best prime rib I've ever had so if you don't mind the drive I would recommend you make the trip

I had the pleasure of dining at Andria's Steakhouse on Thursday, September 20th, 2012. The steak (strip sirloin) was excellent. From the moment we arrived and were seated we were received as family in this old country style home converted to a steakhouse. The only negative, my drink (Jack Daniels and water) was very weak - but the wait staff quickly corrected the problem. I would go back!

What can I say about a perfect meal? Best prime rib I've ever had. Appetizer (bacon, potato and scallop soup) was incredible. Bread was soft and fresh. If I had to pick the proverbial "last meal," this would be the place!

I must say I was ready to be blown away by this place based on the reviews, but I wasn't. The food was fine, but it was just a regular fillet, salad and veggies. I liked the old house. But we were treated by the hostess like we were second class citizens and we must have got lost on our way to the local burger joint. We probably wouldn't go back.

I ate there with my husband and toddler. We ordered her toasted ravioli since there isn't a kids menu (or we were never offered one). My husband had the swordfish. It was burnt. I tried to order the strip steak but they were out so I ordered another steak. I asked if I could sub my potatoes for vegetables because I am pregnant and have gestational diabetes which means I have to really restrict my carbohydrates. The waitress said that she could leave the potato off and add veggies for the full price of $4.95. I asked it I could pay the difference and she said she would ask but normally they don't do that. Finally she said she would charge me half of the price of the side of veggies. I guess that was better than eating potatoes/fries/or another fried food that would put me and my unborn child at harm! It was upsetting that it was such a big deal to change my order so it was safe for me to eat. While waiting for our orders, the waitress came out and told us that they were out of bread. Although I wasn't going to eat any, I was upset because that was our backup plan of how to keep our toddler happy in case she didn't like the t-ravs or couldn't eat them. Amazingly, even though she said they were out, she came to our table with bread 5 minutes later. Not sure why she would say they were out and then bring more. Testing to see if I would eat the carbs? Who knows. My steak was good as were the veggies and salad. After such poor customer service, we will not be eating there again.

I will first state that the tenderloin I had at Andria's was probably the best steak I have ever had. I have traveled all over the place, and eaten many a steak. The 8 oz filet was thick (like a baseball shape), warm red (like I wanted), juicy, tender, flavorful (they basted it with something amazing, I think), and I ate it in delicious little slices. Service was nice and reasonably well paced. Had a Caesar salad, asked for a large salad and no potato, and got exactly that. Wine list is limited but reasonable too, assuming you get a bottle, which we did. Didn't get dessert. We had a large group and they were well prepared for us. Ambiance is not bad but not 5-star. Also, any veggies beyond a salad cost extra - the potato is free, so on principle I withhold a star as I think green veggies should be a right when you buy a $30 steak. In fact, I completely concur with Patrick N's review - you go here for the steak. Yum, yum, yum, yum...

I ate @ Andria's this week. It was, by far, the best steak I have ever eaten. It was prepared to perfection, medium rare. It melted in your mouth. The scallops appetizers were amazing as well. I will definitely be back again.

I can't believe I forgot to review Andria's. I was in back in early May for a business dinner. I had been to Andria's once before so I knew what I was getting into before getting there. Andria's is set in an old house, and the dining rooms are set up as such. There is not a large dinning room, rather they have a few smaller rooms set up. This makes for an intimate setting, it also allows a larger party to occupy a single room and have some privacy. We had several appetizers so I got to experience a few which I would normally not have the opportunity to do. We had the Toasted Ravs, grilled shrimp and a lobster turnover. The toasted ravs were pretty forgettable. Not that they were bad, just didn't stand out as really good. The grilled shrimp were better, but the lobster turnovers were the best. The turnover was flaky on the outside yet full of flavor when you took a bite. I ordered the Strip Steak, which is a 12-14oz New York Strip, cooked medium rare. It came out perfect and though I should have not ate the whole thing, I did. I know Andria's steak sauce is considered wonderful, but I prefer my steak without any type of sauce. Salt and pepper is just fine for me. Overall, Andria's is a great asset to have on this side of the river. I agree with Patrick that if it was in St Louis I doubt I would return, but if I am in need of a great steak in O Fallon I know where to start.

Six of us visited a few months ago, on our way home from St. Louis. The recommendation to eat here was a good one. I thought that the Lobster Turnover was particularly delicious. On the Salad, the Roquefort Dressing very creamy and flavorful. I had the Small Filet (8 oz), which was beautifully cooked and tender. The Baked Potato was large, flakey, and creamy -- hard to imagine how it could have been better. They served a good Iced Tea, which was refilled frequently by the wait staff without prompting (yay!). For desert, I had the Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp, served with ice cream. This was quite a treat, as our own rhubarb plant has been allowed to grow unhindered by picking for pie or crisp or any other such rhubarby delight for several years (until this Spring!). For a side, we had mixed veg, prepared to good level of doneness and with good flavor. My wife reports that her Sirloin was also quite good. I'm not much of a coffee person, but the Coffee here was (we all thought) nice, mellow, and flavorful, without the nasty burnt bitter taste that one often gets at many places that should know better.

We've been to Andria's a handful of times, as it seems to be the place to have a business dinner in the O'Fallon/Fairview Heights area. I have never been impressed. The salad that comes with dinner is iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, one olive and a few croutons. Pretty sad. Every entree I've had here is incredibly salty! The last time we were there I had the salmon, and it was overcooked and the sauce on it was dried on like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The one positive is the baked potato. It is huge, which is good, since it has become the only thing I eat of my meal when we are there. Andria's is a place I would never choose to go, it's one you suffer through when dragged along to business dinners. Take the extra 15 minutes and drive into St. Louis where there are much better steakhouse options.

It has been years since I have dined here and I must say the ambience from the past is gone. Also, the giant baked potato is gone. I enjoyed our salad, but the rolls served with it were less than fresh. I'm wondering why they serve you more than a stick of butter and a cup of sour cream with the meal-such a waste! I had the small filet and though tender as is was it was also so salty and definetly medium well rather than the medium I ordered. My husband had the prime rib and while he said it cut like butter, it was cold. I am so glad we had one of the wonderful coupons to use because the cost was so not worth meal delivered:(

We went to Andria's last night. I've heard so many great things about it and decided it probably was time to go after living here for 15 years. Our experience was kind of mixed. Salad was great with Andria's house dressing. My friend had soup and enjoyed that quite a bit. We both had prime rib, and it was definitely the largest steak I've ever been served anywhere, hands down. Cooked just right and was very tender and juicy, very tasty. I'm going to be eating leftover steak all week I think. Baked potato had a very nice horseradish sour cream that gave it a nice zip. OK wine selection, we chose a nice Cab to go with the steak and it complimented very nice. We asked for a taste before ordering the bottle and got a full glass to taste!! Loved that!! As for our waitress, she was definitely over worked that night, the only one taking care of the whole upstairs area. She was either rushing us through the meal or no where to be found, no in between. She treated us like we were inconveniencing her by being there. She even told us that the kitchen is really getting backed up so we need to get our order in. Atmosphere is a bit loud for an intimate evening but we enjoyed our time there. We were seated in a little alcove (or hallway, whichever you prefer to call it) which only allows 2 tables, by the back upstairs exit. It was much quieter than if we would have been seated in the main area so I was very pleased with the seating. They take reservations but not on Saturday... don't understand why that is... I guess I feel they should be accommodating to patrons every night. Overall we had a good experience, and I'm sure we will go back, just not for a while.

What can I say?? This may be a Belleville institution, but we won't be going back any time soon. I visited Andria's with my husband and two kids on a Friday evening, after hearing a lot of talk about how great the steaks are. We made reservations, but they were clearly not needed. When we arrived at 6 pm, there were only three other parties seated. We all had steaks, again after hearing how great they were. After we had our drinks and the boring salads, our dinners were served. I will say that the baked potato was probably THE biggest I've ever had and it was cooked perfectly. The same cannot be said for the steak. My ribeye was greasy, full of gristle, and rather tasteless. My husband's ribeye was charred on the outside and overcooked in the middle, although he ordered "medium". Our daughters shared a ribyeye and theirs was more like mine...full of gristle and fat. We left hungry and disappointed. I will say that the service was excellent, but the food is not worth a trip back. What a shame!

My co-worker suggested that we go to Andria's because of their steaks. I'm glad my husband and I ate there. That was the best flavored steak I had. The restaurant was beautiful, the staff was friendly and the price was worth it. The reason why I didn't rate it five stars was the limited side choices and desserts.

My hubby and I ate here for our anniversary last December. The service was very good and prompt. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back.
